Giving Back - Casual for a Cause 2018

Bank of Lake Mills employees are allowed to wear jeans to work on Fridays in exchange for a monetary donation. The money raised is then donated to a local charity or organization that has been selected by the employees.

So far in 2018, employees have donated $1760.

October 2018

The Humane Society of Jefferson County received a $250 donation. The mission of the Humane Society of Jefferson County is to care for the lost, homeless and abused animals of Jefferson County, help place them in forever homes, and work to inspire kinder and more humane communities.
 
 
A donation of $250 was presented to the Run Turkey Run 5k Run/Walk. Proceeds from this event are used to support local charities, which include: Watertown Family Aid, Watertown Girls on the Run, Watertown Area YMCA, Crossroads House of Watertown, and Watertown High School Track & Field and Cross-Country teams.

 

August 2018

The Lake Mills Area School District received $285 from Bank of Lake Mills. The funds will be used to purchase school supplies. 


March 2018


A donation of $175 was presented to the Lake Mills Optimist Club to use toward their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. 



A donation of $250 was presented to the Watertown Share the Road Duathlon and 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from the event stay local to help build the Interurban Trail.


February 2018




Bank of Lake Mills presented a donation to the activity departments at Brook Gardens, Lilac Springs, and Willowbrook. Donated money will be used towards social and recreational activities for the residents that promote learning, creativity, fitness,and fun.


January 2018


A donation of $250 was presented to The Watertown Irish Jig Jog 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from this event are used to support the Educational Foundation of Watertown.
