FREE Shred Event
Bank of Lake Mills is hosting a FREE Community Shred Event on Saturday, May 19th from 12:30pm to 2:30pm The event will take place at both BLM locations:
• Lake Mills - 136 E Madison Street
• Watertown - 400 Bernard Street
Community residents are invited to bring their unwanted confidential personal and business documents to be professionally shredded on-site by PROSHRED Security from Brookfield. Materials that will not be accepted include: binders, carbon paper, cardboard, clips, covers, electronics, metal, pictures, and plastics. Residents will have to take any boxes or bags that are used for transporting documents because they can NOT be disposed of on-site. The shred truck only has the capacity to hold the shredded paper.
“Identity theft is the fastest growing form of consumer fraud in America and one of the best ways to safeguard against it is to regularly destroy confidential documents. We are pleased to host this free community event to give residents the opportunity to protect them themselves against identity theft,” stated Ty A. Neupert, President and CEO at Bank of Lake Mills.
