Residential Mortgage Loan Originator - Watertown Branch

Bank of Lake Mills offers the security of working for a community bank while also offering a wide range of mortgage products typically found at a mortgage broker. We have a mortgage loan product available for almost every situation!
Responsibilities
- Origination of residential mortgage loans at levels required to meet established goals
- Present information to current and prospective customers
- Establish business contacts, such as builders and realtors, in the Waukesha and Jefferson County area
Qualifications
- Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Meets requirements to become a Wisconsin Notary Public
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Strong work ethic, good judgement, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Additionally, the person hired to fill this position will be paired with a very talented and experienced Loan Processor located in the office next door. Compensation is base salary plus commission. Commission can be very lucrative for the right person depending upon level of effort, sales skills and business contacts. Branch locations are closed on 11 Federal Holidays and you have the ability to earn additional time off just for volunteering in your community!

Loan Associate - Lake Mills Branch
Do you like to work in a positive, community focused work environment? Do you have exceptional attention to detail and want to take your career to the next level? Bank of Lake Mills is a locally owned community bank looking to add a Loan Associate to our team in Lake Mills, WI!
Responsibilities
- Enter new and renewed loans into our loan servicing system
- File and maintain loan records
- Reconcile various general ledger and loan accounts
- Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions
- Manage escrow accounts, including establishment of new accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate property tax and insurance payments for escrowed loans
- Oversee annual analysis for all loan accounts
- Perform other various loan servicing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Three years of banking-related experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly customer service attitude
- Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, located at our Lake Mills branch. Branch locations are closed on 11 Federal Holidays, and you also have the ability to earn additional time off just for volunteering in your community!
